Dr. & Target

I thought I already wrote about this but i don't see it on the blog. Well....Adeline and I visited the Dr. today. Dr. Jorgenson is not sure she is colicky yet. Maybe just a little fussy and could pass.....well yesterday,night and so far today has been great! I have just decided to give her what he wants - more boob! lol! Anytime she does her N cry....I feed her and she's been very happy and slept 4 hours last night and the night before! We think that she even smiled today. she smiles in her sleep usually - this time she was awake.

What i've found is that she gets a little cranky because she's tired or bored - so a little top off of food does the trick! And also sleeping belly 2 belly in the am really helps get the gas out.

Oh yeah! The Dr. said she looks great and not to supplement formula because she is doing so well on the boob. She gained about a pound in 8n days! She is 10 lbs 7 oz! Holy big girl!!

Princess!

Well, we certainly have a princess on our hands! Adeline is pretty fussy. She was throwing up so we thought that maybe she had a stomache bug?....but, she is not throwing up....and still a little fussy pants. She is eating around every 3-4 hrs. But she wakes up every 2 hrs. because of gas pains. she doesn't really know how to cry....just scream! Makes me sad because if she's having a freak out moment there is nothing that we can do. I think I am going to order this stuff called colic calm...it's expensive but it will be worth it if she feels better!

Other than fussy points in the day and night she is perfect and absolutely adorable!

Daddy lends a hand

Precious Moments!

Adeline is a lot of fun! Kevin and I sit around imagining what she will be like, what she will do next, etc....We don't want time to fly by but it's hard not to think about what her personality will be like. Right now she is very easy. She had a couple of hard days...due to gas! Kevin and I usually go to bed around 11pm - she only wakes up 2 times during the night already. She wakes up around 7:30 or 8:00 am. Kevin and Adeline usually go downstairs and play while I catch a few more minutes of sleep. So I think she is sleeping around 4 hrs. during the night. She is sleeping around 2-3 hours during the day. She eats like a little piggy! She is eating so much that I have way too much Milk! It's actually good - because I know she is getting enough food - sometimes I think she is getting too much!

Nicknames:
I thought I would write down the nicknames that I call her:
Addy, pumpkin, chubby, tank, cutie pie, princess, butterball!
Ok - I think there is a trend...I need to stop commenting on
her eating habits - don't want her to get a complex already!!! lol!
she's not that chubby - but her cheeks certainly are!

She recognizes our voices. She also gets a little excited for certain things - like
kisses and blast off....

She is sleeping in our bed because she does not want to sleep by herself. I can't blame her.
She was inside of me for 9 months and then she is suppossed to automatically sleep by
herself. Doesn't seem right to me. I'm all about making her happy and feeling safe. We have a little co-sleeper bed so we won't squish her. It is cool that if I fall asleep with her in my arms that I frequently wake up to check on her....interesting how the mommy and baby team works!

Well, wrote a lot today - nothing much else to report except that I LOVE BEING A MOMMY!
