Adelines Friend Saying DA Da!

Adeline is 2 months old!

Adeline had her 2 month well visit @ her dr's. I was very nervous because she had to get 3 shots! Nana came and actually took one in the arm - lol! It was an accident -the nurse was so good @ giving shots - she was so quick! When she was throwing the shot away she got my moms wrist!!!!! OUCH!

Adeline is 100% height 100% weight and 60% head! That means she is a BIG girl!
She's solid - she's not super fat like I was.

She has changed so much -as you can see in the videos. She's growing up so fast - but it's so much fun seeing all of these changes.

She hated tummy time but she listed to her dr. and has been cooperating! It might also be because she watches molly on her tummy! It's great having her around another baby! And it's good for the MOMS!!!!!!

Adeline & Molly Cummins!

Adeline had her first play date! Her Best friend is Molly Cummins! Molly seems
to love babies - they actually talked to each other too! Adeline was sleeping almost the entire time....We are going to do this every week! I have been best friends with Mollys aunt Allison for over 20 years so I hope these girls keep up the tradition! Allison is more like a sister than a best friend....that goes for all my girls actually! I'm very lucky!

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

I was just walking around the house with Adeline and realized....WOW! If it wasn't
for my family, friends & especially grandparents....Adeline wouldn't have much!
We really didn't have to buy very much for her. Everyones help has really made this a less stressful situation financially for us! It's amazing how expensive everything is gas, diapers, wipes, and now FORMULA! YIKES! She is now up to 2-3 formula bottles -going back to work soon and have decided that I really don't want to pump in my car! My job is not really breastfeeding friendly at all. I can't imagine working with my boss and having to ask him to go somewhere while I pump in the car! lol! Ok back to the thanks! Well, on this St. Patricks day I just want to say thank you a million times and if I were a leprechon I found my pot of gold on the other side of the rainbow.....ALL OF YOU!

Adeline is so much fun! Her favorite things to do are:

she is sleeping much better most nights. She is a mommas girl! I can't put her down at all during the day! I carry her all day or have her in the baby bjorn! I don't really mind...I get jelous when other people are holding her....it's all still new so i'm sure that will change- we are soooooooooo in love w/ her! Kevin loves getting her to smile and laugh!

Sorry it took so long for an update!

Adeline is my favorite thing in the world! I am so in LOVE with her! I can hardly take a nap when she's taking a nap because I LOVE looking at her and cuddling with her! I have started giving her one formula bottle in the evening. The reason that I am doing this is because she will be going to daycare at the end of April and i don't want her to only want the breast - which is exactly what is happening! I have figured out that if I wake her up from sleeping in the evening after 3 hrs. with a formula bottle she will take it and go right back to sleep. And she is only waking up 2 times during the night now! A lot better than every 2 hrs. Maybe that's why I didn't give an update! I was so tired! Getting better every day! She wakes up everyday @ 7am to play - I'm so happy that it isn't 6am! I can't function until atleast 7! We start with a diaper change where i pretend like i'm going to eat her belly, toes & fingers etc....and give her about a million kisses! She laughs ans smiles the entire time. Then i put her in her crib to watch her mobile, then the swing, then a little back and tummy time on her mat. then she eats, falls a sleep and we do it all over again. Kevin is probably freaked out but I love her so much - and she is so fun i can see why my aunt helen had 11 kids!
