Our little Girl!

Thoughts:
We are so happy that she is finally here! We are just so much in LOVE!
What a beautiful & healthy little girl!
Parenthood so far is fun....maybe because it's all so new etc....
But the lack of sleep doesn't bother me. When she wakes me up
in the middle of the night - I am just so happy to see her face!

She had her first dr's apt. today 1/29/08 - she is 6 days old now. She left the hospital
at 8lbs 4 oz - @ her dr's apt. she was 9lbs! I just assumed that she would loose weight
because I am breastfeeding (no supplementing). I really enjoy breastfeeding...it's hard and stressful but she is doing really good.

At this time we notice that she is focuses on us if we get really close, she loves kisses on her cheeks, nose, and lips, she loves when we sing to her, and she loves to cuddle!

My advice:
Have kids! The most amazing thing that we have ever experienced together. I think it has
made us stronger as a couple.

kevin was so wonderful during my not so nice experience of labor...(i won't give details). If he wasn't with me I wouldn't have been able to do it!
Kevin is also a very hands on daddy - Adeline really responds to kevin - she loves to hear his voice and prefers him to change her diaper and change her outfits over me. She cries for me - not for him.
